Inspired by the story of the Unknown Soldier of WWI, a new choral commission pays tribute to all who served. Join composer Timothy C. Takach, co-librettists Pat Daneman and Rob Hill, along with historian Dr. Jason Crouthamel, in a discussion of the creative process behind the new harmonic work We, The Unknown (WETU) and the historically-inspired narratives honoring the experiences of African Americans, the queer community, and women during WWI. Presented in partnership with the Heartland Men's Chorus and its We, The Unknown Project. Cash bar/ small plates begin at 6 p.m. FREE with RSVP | J.C. Nichols Auditorium
