After Hours at the Towers

Benefit/Fundraiser, Special Event
Channel your inner ‘80s-glam rock star and join us for the 4th annual After Hours at the Towers fundraiser on Friday, May 3rd from 8-11 p.m., hosted by Young Friends of Starlight at Starlight Theatre. This year’s event is inspired by Rock of Ages, the hit Broadway musical set in the iconic big bad 1980s Hollywood era that features classic tunes like “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Hit Me With Your Best Shot.” After Hours at the Towers is a rockin’ two-part evening that will begin outdoors in the Helzberg Garden of the Stars with a red carpet arrival, complimentary bites from local restaurants, interactive games, and then end on the stage as we rock ‘n’ roll all night long to exciting live music. Funds raised from After Hours at the Towers directly benefit Starlight’s Bob Rohlf Internship program, which provides paid summer internships to college students across multiple departments. Last year’s event helped to sponsor six of Starlight’s 15 interns.
Ages: Guests must be at least 21 or older to attend.
Price: $50-$70

Chicago

Rock, Pop
In 1967, seven Chicago musicians set out to create a new sound: a rock band with horns. Their dream turned into 20 Top-10 singles and 12 Top-10 albums. Among their hits many hits are "If You Leave Me Now," "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" and "Here In My Heart." Nearly five decades later, in 2016, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
