A distinguished scholar of ethics, metaphysics, arts and culture, Piotr Jaroszynski, Ph.D, will speak at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Sep. 25, in the Arrupe Hall auditorium as a guest of the Visiting Scholar Lecture Series at Rockhurst University.
Head of the department of philosophy and culture at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland, Jaroszynki will deliver “Is Europe in Crisis? Pluralism, Terrorism, and National Identity,” the annual William L. Rossner, S.J., Lecture in Philosophy. Using Poland as a case study, he will examine concerns arising from a unified Europe and the future of the European Union.
